Hours: 25–30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £28.75 – £32.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

Bolton Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced and engaging Business Lecturer to deliver teaching across BTEC Business Levels 1–3 at Bolton College. Working with predominantly 16–18-year-old learners, you will support their development in core Business concepts, applied theory, enterprise skills, and the analytical understanding needed for progression into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

The successful candidate will deliver well‑structured, relevant, and stimulating sessions that help learners build confidence, develop transferable skills, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across BTEC Business Levels 1–3
• Teach a range of units including marketing, finance, enterprise, communication, and business operations
• Support learners with assignment preparation, assessment completion, and portfolio development
• Provide constructive feedback and track learner progress in line with college processes
• Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that supports achievement and positive behaviour

Key Requirements

• Degree in Business or a related discipline
• Minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification
• Experience delivering Business in a Further Education setting
• Strong subject knowledge across core and applied Business topics
• Excellent communication, organisation, and learner engagement skills
